A tehetséggondozás történeti alapjaiban a teológia és a pedagógia szakterületei közvetlen összefonódásban kapcsolódtak a tehetségek kibontakoztatásához. A neveléstörténeti tanulságokat és meghatározókat vizsgálva id. és ifj. Harsányi István munkássága kiemelkedik: az apa és a fia személyes példával, elkötelezettséggel áll példaként előttünk. Mindketten értékes szakmai eredményeket értek el, egyúttal ifj. Harsányi István a tehetséggondozás magyarországi történetét rendszerbe foglalva nyújtott segítséget a múlt értékeire való tudatos építkezéshez.
In the historical foundations of talent development, the fields of theology and pedagogy were directly intertwined with the development of talent. When examining the lessons and defining factors of educational history, the work of István Harsányi Sr. and Jr. stands out: father and son serve as examples to us through their personal example and commitment. Both achieved valuable professional results, while István Harsányi Jr. helped to build consciously on the values of the past by systematizing the history of talent development in Hungary.
