| dc.description.abstract | A nagyobb latin-amerikai országok (Argentína és Brazília) mellett Magyarországnak hagyományosan fontos partnere volt a térségben Uruguay. Államközi és kereskedelmi kapcsolataik a II. világháború, majd az 1956-os forradalom következményeinek hatására nagyon visszaestek és az általunk vizsgált időszak elejére alig léteztek. Erről a szintről épültek újjá. Hiszen a magyar külügy részéről az 1959 és 1969 közötti évtizedet a diplomáciai kapcsolat helyreállítása és a kereskedelmi kapcsolatok bővítési lehetőségeinek keresése határozta meg, míg Uruguay részéről belső egyensúlyvesztés, az Egyesült Államok befolyásának növekedése ugyanakkor a külkapcsolatok diverzifikációjának igénye jellemezte ezt az időszakot. A két ország erősödő kapcsolatait ezeknek a tényezőknek az összjátéka alakította. | hu |
| dc.description.abstract | Besides the larger Latin American countries (Argentina and Brazil), Hungary has tradition ally had Uruguay as an important partner in the region. Their bilateral relations declined greatly because of the consequences of World War II and the 1956 Hungarian revolution and existed only at a low level in the period we are considering. They were rebuilt from this level in the ‘60s. After all, the Hungarian foreign and trade policy in the decade between 1959 and 1969 was marked by the restoration of diplomatic relations and the search for opportunities for expanding trade relations, while on the part of Uruguay this period was characterized by an internal imbalance and the increase in the influence of the United States, as well as the need to diversify foreign relations. The strengthening relations between the two countries were shaped by the interplay of these factors. | en |
