dc.description.abstractThe creator of the first educational science system in Hungarian,64 József Zákány (1785–1857), considers the complex development of various human “talents” as an essential part of education: the intellect, memory, judgment and imagination, inner feelings, morals and the role of religious feeling in the enrichment of spir-itual talents. In the course of our work, we are looking for the answer to how the development of these areas and their mutual influence were realized in the Nagykőrös teacher training school – as one of the oldest and outstanding teacher training institutions in our country65 – based on the 19th and 20th century notices from the Nagykőrös teacher training school. By this, our aim is to clarify the role of the institution in talent management, also based on the Reformed spirit of the Nagykőrös teacher training school.
