A tehetség szocioemocionális jellemzőinek ábrázolása a filmvásznon
Abstract
Talented people have got a special set of character traits which help them develop their capabilities, but at the same time, it hinders their integration in family, school and society. Depiction of their life paths often appears in cinematography. Together with the students of Károli Gáspár University of Faculty of Teacher Training, we have studied the characteristic features of talent by examining two movies. Our goal was the raising of professional awareness, the renewal of professional vocabulary and the formation of a complex perspective on the matter. During the analyzation of Good Will Hunting (1997) and Gifted (2017) we have identified intra- and interpersonal psychological processes. By knowing these processes and by changing our pedagogical culture we can make the everyday life of a talented person and its environment easier. Looking at the characters appearing in the films, we analysed the specific personality traits of a talented individual, the attachment models and the catalysts for talent development, as well as the atmosphere in family and school, and the influence of an educator on talent development. The films offered a lot of opportunities to analyse the topic, as the dialogues and twist in the stories perfectly showed that talent development with positive family-school-personality interaction is not effective without socio-emotional development.
