Abstract
A tanulmány a Károli Gáspár Református Egyetemen elhangzott előadás szerkesztett leirata, amely a Magyar Református Szeretetszolgálat (MRSZ) szerepvállalását mutatja be a „Felzárkózó Települések” programban. Az írás ismerteti a program ’fogantatástól a foglalkoztatásig’ tartó alapelvét, valamint a diagnózis alapú „Jelenlét” módszertan gyakorlati alkalmazását. Az elemzés részletezi a rászoruló településeken végzett szociális munkát, a jelenlétpontok kialakításának szempontjait és a terepi munkatársak sokrétű feladatait. A szerző hangsúlyozza a helyi református gyülekezetekkel és intézményekkel való szoros együttműködés jelentőségét, amely hitbeli meggyőződésből fakadóan segíti elő a hátrányos helyzetű közösségek fenntartható felzárkózását és a generációs szegénység megtörését.
This paper is a revised transcript of a presentation delivered at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church, detailing the role of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (MRSZ) in the „Emerging Settlements” program. The study describes the program’s core principle, „from conception to employment,” and the practical implementation of the diagnosis-based „Presence” (Jelenlét) methodology. The analysis explores social work interventions in disadvantaged settlements, criteria for establishing „presence points,” and the multifaceted responsibilities of field workers. The author emphasizes the significance of close cooperation with local Reformed congregations and institutions, which, rooted in faith-based conviction, promotes sustainable social integration for marginalized communities and aims to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
